NSBE TMU
At NSBE TMU, we endeavor to cultivate a community where Black & marginalized students feel safe and heard. With inclusivity and equity as our core values, we function as a representative body on issues and developments that affect the careers of Black Engineers; and the STEM community at large.
Our Goals
Stimulate and develop pre-collegiate interest in the various engineering disciplines
Increase the number of minority students studying engineering at both undergraduate and graduate levels
Supporting members through mentorship and professional exposure
NSBE International
Founded in 1975 by six engineering students, NSBE operates as a non-profit organization seeking to support the professional development of collegiate and pre-collegiate students with a particular emphasis on black students in engineering, science and technology.
